A Silent Revolution: Ancestral Roots & Advancements In Technology
At times it can be difficult trusting our intuition with the mass amounts of information and stimulation we constantly receive.
What is the difference between thought and reality if our thoughts create our reality?
How do we learn to distinguish for ourselves what information is true?
How can we find contentment in being, when we live in a world where we are taught to constantly seek externally?
Surrounded by distractions- any moment we’re alone picking up our phones: checking the time, switching between apps, binging tv etc. There’s nothing wrong with any of these things, as it is simply the way the world is evolving. Technology truly is a gift, but we must become conscious of the choices and decisions we make rather than slipping into the ease of comfort and familiarity.
How can we begin to fuse these two ways of living- the advancement of technology while also tapping back into our ancestral roots?
We have partly forgotten the simple necessities that are essential to our well being: authentic connection with others and nature.
Art by Josephine Wall
We’ve grown up in a world where escapism is easier than facing ourselves. To constantly seek for something greater than, separating and distracting us from our inner source. We’re not facing the roots of problems, only giving temporary fixes or turning a blind eye.
The beginnings of change is to start asking questions- bringing our awareness to new thought forms, possibilities and perspectives. Bringing our awareness within. Finding strength through accountability, self expression, authentic community and connection with nature.
Things are shifting. There is a silent revolution in movement as many begin to speak out and further ask questions. One persons self awareness can cause a ripple effect, not in any actions taken, but simply in a state of being. Changing our internal thoughts, conversations and personal ways of being. We truly change the world by changing ourselves.
The more we return within, observing our thoughts and holding space to actually feel it it all, truly has the most profound impact on our shift in consciousness.
We have been in a war with our minds, though deception and fear struggle to survive, only truth and love can remain. Remembering, as truth always comes to light.
